ESL Support

Language Help for International Students

The ESL Art Support Program provides language support to international students at all levels. English instructors can assist students in art and design classes with the skills they need to understand and participate:

  • Vocabulary & Concepts
  • Discussions & Assignments
  • Understanding Critiques
  • Preparing for Tests
  • Communicating with Instructors

Faculty with low-English proficiency international students who are struggling in their classes (i.e., understanding or completing homework assignments, critiquing other students' work, comprehending lectures or hands-on demonstrations) due to language comprehension problems may request ESL support by contacting:
