The Academy of Art University provides academic support and classroom services to students who, through recent professional assessment, can document the presence of a disability. What we doDisability-related services are determined in collaboration with the Executive personnel of the college. All accommodations are intended to create equal access within the University. Please note that academic standards will not be compromised for any student at the Academy of Art University. Eligibility CriteriaTo seek accommodations, auxiliary aids, and support services, a student must verify that he/she has a disability and state its effect on him/her at the college
level. Students are required to submit current and comprehensive documentation to the office of Classroom Services. Please note that all documentation is required to be from a qualified professional, and it must meet the eligibility criteria determined by the University. This criteria is based on several different disability types.
