Teaching Essentials Workshops

The Teaching Essentials Workshops are a half-day event offered every January, just before the start of the spring semester. As a smaller version of the Teaching Expo, it is designed to meet the needs of faculty members who are new to the Academy or new to teaching. Past sessions have included these topics, among many others:
- 4-Step Lesson Planning
- Critiques: Let’s Hear It from the Students
- Dynamic Demos
- Time Management
- Communicating with Gen Y Students
