Come together with other faculty to share ideas, inspiration and best practices in teaching, at free professional development events hosted by our team.
The Teaching Expo is a lively, day-long set of offerings held every August, designed to help new and returning instructors kick off the fall semester. Attend interactive sessions, roundtable discussions, reading groups, multimedia presentations, a vendor fair, and more. Come for a couple of sessions or stay all day. Evening sessions are also available.
The Teaching Essentials Workshops are a half-day event offered every January, just before the start of the spring semester. As a smaller version of the Teaching Expo, it is designed to meet the needs of faculty members who are new to the Academy or new to teaching.
