Fall 2008 Teaching Conference
Call for proposals

 You are invited to present at the Fall 2008 Teaching Conference on Thursday, August 28th, 2008. The conference offers an opportunity to connect with faculty from all art & design schools and explore new teaching strategies. We welcome proposals for the following types of sessions:

Roundtable Discussion: 60 minutes. Participant generated discussion on topics related to art & design education.
Panel Presentation: 75 minutes. 2 - 3 person panel discussion with Q & A component.
Interactive Workshop: 90 minutes. Short presentation followed by a practical hands-on activity that allows participants to apply concepts to their classrooms.
Demonstration: 60 or 75 minutes. Demonstration of a method, technique or approach to teaching.

Submissions deadline: Wednesday, June 18th. Proposals from previous AAU teaching conference attendees will be given first priority.

Please note: Prepare for wide applicability when planning, as participants from all art and design departments will attend your session.
