- How can I get my students to be more motivated?
- What should I do about late students?
- How can I critique so many students in one class period?
- How am I supposed to grade?

We are available to visit classes and provide personalized consultations—constructive, supportive, confidential feedback based on your questions and our observations. Class visits are scheduled in advance, and generally last about an hour. Most faculty find our visits to be extremely helpful and some even ask us to come multiple times.

Events & Trainings
Come together with other faculty to share ideas, inspiration and best practices in teaching, at free professional development events hosted by our team.
The Teaching Expo is a lively, day-long set of offerings held every August, designed to help new and returning instructors kick off the fall semester. Attend interactive sessions, roundtable discussions, reading groups, multimedia presentations, a vendor fair, and more. Come for a couple of sessions or stay all day. Evening sessions are also available.
Expo Anywhere is an online offering of workshops featured at the Teaching Expo. Attendees from all over can participate via Adobe Connect for a day of professional development. Evening sessions are also available.
The Teaching Essentials Workshops are a half-day event offered every January, just before the start of the spring semester. As a smaller version of the Teaching Expo, it is designed to meet the needs of faculty members who are new to the Academy or new to teaching.
Customized workshops & trainings are also available for departments and small groups of faculty, upon request. We can provide a workshop from our menu of offerings or create something more tailored to meet your needs. Contact us to discuss your interests.
